Behind an apparent simplicity – which manages to surprise with the clean, elegant lines – lies an intricate technological fabric that runs beneath the architectural skin of the space, discernible only through the many distinctive details of this dazzling new Ragusan lounge. The choice of materials and colours is driven by the desire to create an elegant, professional and welcoming environment… without, however, sacrificing the contemporary feel provided by a vibrant splash of colour.
Lacca – Barber / Hair Stylist
The space of the new “Lacca” showroom by Gianni Cassarino & @luca Savasta is configured as a matryoshka of volumes: a white box that opens up and fragments within a larger dove-grey box. The hierarchical relationship between these two spatial units is revealed through the functions that take place within them: the dove-grey box contains the waiting area and facilities; the light, bright and vibrant box contains all the salon’s main activities, almost like a treasure chest revealing its most precious contents.
