A process of subtraction carves away at the material, creating an intriguing balance of solids and voids. Coloured volumes are arranged along the visual axes and flow lines, creating spaces, passageways and internal gardens. Cascades of light flow over the surfaces like veils of silk, whilst the swimming pool is like a quartz crystal set into the ground. House GC is refined, intimate and understated, yet at the same time reveals a unique, vibrant and playful character, through which it manages to relax and entertain.
